How was NPE 2024?

The NPE 2024 is a premier event in the plastics industry, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and innovations. In 2024, NPE was held in Orlando, Florida, from May 6th to May 10th  with the theme "The Plastics Show”.  

We were located at Booth S10049, Bottle Zone. We presented through virtual reality the E2-1000 extrusion blow molding machine model, ideal for manufacturers with high production capacities. It also showed an important innovative system for the automation of clamping force adjustment. 

What is NPE?

NPE boasts a long and illustrious history, dating back to 1946. Held every year, it has established itself as a premier event for professionals in the plastics industry. This year's edition attracted a diverse audience of manufacturers, engineers, distributors, and other key players, fostering a dynamic environment for connection, learning, and exploration.

Our participation

At booth S10049, in the Bottle Zone, we showcased new features and machines. 

Virtual reality 

The Virtual Reality interactive station allows users to observe the E2-1000 aseptic machine in immersive mode.  

The application shows the EBM machine in 3D in action as it produces bottles.  Users can move around and inside the machine and see every detail and operation, a useful tool for training as well.  With some preset zooms, it is possible to see all the important parts of the machine with just a click.  

Using virtual reality, it is also possible to delve into the data and videos of technical optionals (Asepta, Parison Radial Adjustment, neck to neck, CFA...) by simply clicking on some information points. 

New CFA system presentation

At the fair, for the first time, Techne presented its new clamping force adjustment system, called CFA “Clamping Force Automation”. This is a real innovation for all those plastic containers manufacturers who often need to change size and adjust the clamping force.
